"You don't build a business, you build people & then the people build the business."
Duncan works with individuals on their personal performance within their teams and businesses. Performance sessions train the individual to look at their performance, assess it and progress. He supports this by having 1-2-1 or small group sessions to get the individuals to look at their performance and what opportunities for improvement there are that can be achieved.
At the end of every session the individual or individuals have a clear plan of what they shall be looking to achieve within the agreed time frame. This time frame could be bi-weekly, monthly or even quarterly. With certain clients the Ignite Performance Tracker will be used which is specific to each individual and their role within the business.
Topics for the performance sessions can massively vary and until the initial session has been completed this will be unknown because no information has been gathered. The role for Duncan is to ask key questions that get the required information to make the progress optimal. So many human behaviours go on at an unconscious level that no one knows they are doing them and it is this which Duncan will pick up on.
The performance sessions get the individuals out of their comfort zones and into their learning zones so they can progress with their performance for the business.
Example topics that have been covered with clients include:
- Improve engagement at work
- Make better decisions
- Improve goal setting to achieve results
- Understand natural tendencies & how to be aware of them
- Reduce procrastination
- Become a better team player
plus many more..
Malcolm Hall (Senior Manager Commercial, Lloyds TSB) - "I have received 100% positive feedback to the session that you ran with my team last Friday. It has been amazing to watch people in the office this week. I have had people say that they have taken real notice of the messages that you gave out and that where they have started to change their habits, they are seeing tangible benefit in terms of increased energy and focus.
When you review the year with a business team such as the one that I manage, there are highlights that everyone remembers. Usually, these feature something out of the ordinary, particular successes or fun activities. The session last week ticked all boxes and I am sure will be the number one thing that the team remembers when I do the year end review.
Thanks for your input we are already getting inquiring calls from other teams around the area and you can expect a call."
